Você sabia que não há regras gramaticais na língua inglesa que explica quando e como usar o futuro? Em inglês, não há regras gramaticais que “regulamentem” o uso do futuro e os linguistas são categóricos em afirmar que não há tempo verbal futuro.

A decisão do modo a ser usado é uma decisão sua. Uma gramática em inglês diz que quanto mais certeza há de que um evento acontecerá, mais usaremos o presente contínuos ou o be going to. No entanto, quanto menor for nosso grau de certeza, mais usaremos will, may ou might.

Levando isso em conta temos a seguinte tabela:

going to = planejado, certo, próximo, futuro imediato.

O auxiliar deve ir no começo da frase o restante permanece na forma direta.
