Prepositional Phrases




PREPOSITIONS
are words that come before nouns to help show : when, where, why, who, how

prepositions: about, as, beyond, in, on, under, after, against, behind, into, onto, up, at, before, nemeath, like, over, upon, around, beside, during, near, through, with, above, between, for, of , to , without, across, by, from, off, toward, within 

A phrase is a group of words with no subject or main verb.

A prepositional phrase is a combination of a preposition and a noun.
preposition + noun
ex: 
- under the tree
- with his family
- down the narrow street
- for two years
- like my country
- in their favorite class
*pode ter outras palavras juntas como adjetivo, numeros, possessive adjective

To show time:
