Q&A - About me, health, work and future goals!

I think I'm a pretty confident person and I think I've always been. But of course sometimes I don't feel perfect and believing myself most of time. But I think that's the most important thing to work on to feel confident in yourself and be the best version of yourself.
I don't really know how to get confidence maybe say good things about yourself, try not to compare with everyone. That's probably hard but that's the most important thing to work on.
I would say the key thing for you is so you don't think too much, you don't worry and like you don'te care that much.
That's my personality
But it's a good strategy I think.
Could you give us your best advice on hot to be more confident?
I told you guys some in the beginning nut I would say do not compare with anyone else, believe in yourself, work on loving yourself and .... what else can I say... don't worry like it's life have fun and smile.

Don't worry too much and just enjoy it you're only living once.
So make the best out of it.
What is your best advice for life in general
Now, I'm mastering the questions in the beginning
My best tip for life in general is to enjoy to the fullest and do what you love
as I said you only live once
...
How do you deal with being well-known?
I would say that like two years ago I wasn't really that well-known had a lot of followers but we could walk around town and no one would notice or maybe one or two photos that changed since youtube and sometimes it's really tough and hard like when you're home and people are sitting in front of your balcony and stare at you can't go out bevause people are screaming at you go like it at all to be honest.

But most of the time it's amazing and I have friends everywhere it feels like I don't think about me as well-known.

Ho do you organize your agenda to have time to do everything?
That's my new year's resolution I do not have a good plan for my agenda or my calendar whatever and I don't really plan that well to be honest I've traveling too much I've been feeling very tired lately
so that's a new goal for next year
...
If you back turn back time which things would you change?

How do you stay in shape with trainin and food?
I tried to eat healthy all the time or most of the time not all the time. I love healthy food like salads and super berries superfood, acai bowls, everything but I've been slacking on working out when we traveled the most. I can feels it in my body nowadays when I was 3 years ago I couldn't feel any difference but nowadays I can really feel the difference so I tried to eat smart and workout for me it's important to have a schedule like you have to work out on Mondays, wednesdays ... then I will follow it but if I don't work out

I wonder is you ever have some body issues in that case how do you boost yourself?
I think we all do especially with social media and averything. I don't have it of most of the time but sometimes I can think like I wish I had a bigger ass or more toned stomach or whatever and especially a certain period of the month
I just tried to think that this is my body I'm healthy I can do whatever I want
and try not to think about it
but of course sometimes I think about it
and it's no fun so I just try not to think about it

But from an outside perspective you have a very healthy outlook on training food and everything
Yeah I guess

Do you have specific fitness goals or just going only unhealthy lifestyle?
I don't have specific goals I just like to be healthy and I know if I workout I will feel energized and I will feel good inside and outside it gives me so much more energy like in the morning if I don't go for my morning walk I will have a slow morning I would be tired I would not have the energy to open up my emails.
But if I go for a walk that gives me energy so it's more because of that and not because of a goal
I have my goal is to have a healthy lifestyle
I'm saying

Mving over to work stuff
How did your career start

Hiding in plain sight -- my life as an undocumented American | Leezia Dhalla | TEDxSanAntonio

For years ago, I almost got deported.

It was a couple of days before my 21st birthday.

And I had just come home from a ski trip in the mountain with my college friends.

I remember pulling my suitcase up the stairs

and just as I pushed open the door to my childhood bedroom,

I heard my dad's voice from behind. That's when he said four words I'll never forget:
"You don't have papers."

In his hand was a letter from the Department of homeland security - a
notice to appear in Immigration Court.

The letter said that I had overstayed my visa

and now I had to go before a judge who could issue me a ten-year bar from re-entering the only home I know.

How do you prepar yourself for the realization that you are less than legal?

That suddenly, you're an unwelcome guest in your own home? Facing eviction.

That moment of truth sent me flying into a new chapter of my life that I never wanted or imagined I could ever be a part of because I had heard about those illegal aliens, how they're criminal, they take our jobs, they don't even speak english!

But my dad's words exposed me toa  reality that wasn't mine, until suddently it was. And suddently, that illegal alien was me.

Today, I want to take you on that journey of transformation.

To help you understand what it's like to be undocumented in America.

My story starts about 300 miles north of the Montana border in Edmonton, Canada.

My family didn't have much money, so in 1995, when I was 5 years old,

my dad went to the US to search for something more, while his wife and his two
 young kids stayed behind.

In Florida, he made 5 bucks an hour behind a counter of a Dunkin'Donuts. It wasn't glamorous and the future was really uncertain, but my dad believed in the American dream. The american dreams is - it's what you tell your kids or maybe parents told you, that if you just stay in school and if you eat all your vegetables, you can be anything you want when you grow up.

E nossos pais fundadores acreditavam no sonho americano.

It's the idea if you just work hard you can do great things. And our founding fathers believed in the American dream.

And did you know that none of our founders were born American?

They all became American over the time. In fact, many of our nation's immigrants were paperless, but their dreams of prosperity gave their children's children the ability to call themselves American.

Many of those children are in this audience.

I was 6 years old in 1996, when my dad got me a visa to come here.

And I can still remember learning the words to the Pledge of Alligiance on the first day of school.

Meus pais adoraram aqui e queriam ficar.

I remember when I traded in my snow boots for cowboy boots and when "washroom" became the "bathroom".

And when I learned "The Star-Spangled Banner" and how it replaced "O Canada".

I remember how in elementary school, I spend five years learning how to square-dance, which, by the way, is not a transferable skill - I can't take that to Canada with me.

My parents loved it here and they wanted to stay.

So they hired an attorney, filed the paperwork, they paid the fees and they waited for an approval that just never came.

As coisas deram errado.

We never imagined our attorney would file the paperwork late.

Or that an employer would refuse to sign a document in the final stage of a years-long application process.

Things went wrong.

But we played by the rules.

And 18 years later, we have nothing to show for it.

Not even papers.

You know, handling immigration paperwork is sort of like filing taxes - it's an adult's issue, not something you would concern the kids with.

So I didn't know I had overstayed my visa, because I was left out of that decision-making process.

And instead, I focused an other things, like school.

I got accepted to Northwestern University and when I left for college, my parents came with me to make sure there's air conditioning in my dorm, which there wasn't.

But also to make sure there were no boys living in my dorm, which there were.

entrevista vogue

She's a British journalist and editor.
She's been Editor in Cheif of Vogue since 1988.
She's Anna Wintour and here is my take on her Top 10 Rules for success.
Rule number five is my personal favorite, and I'm curious to figure out which one  you like the best.
I try and be decisive.
I try even if I don't know what the hell I'm going, I try to be decisive because I think it's very comforting reassuring and important to the people that work with you to feel that whoever is in charge knows what they're doing and knows what they're thinking.
That if it's a yes, it's a yes, and if it's a no, it's a no.
I mean I don't think of myself as a boss.
I think of myself as someone who's giving direction, guidance, and vice-versa.
And I also know careerwise how important it is not to be too highly specialized.
Especially these days in the world of media.
It's crucial to have multiple interests and skill sets.
To have tried and possibly failed at many different undertakings.
The young people that we hire today at Conde Nast, are fearless polymaths.
Hardworking and passionate, creative and curious.
- You eventually joined Harper's Bazaar U. S.
And in 1976 it was, you were fired, and I find that extraordinary.
- No, they were very clear in that thought that I would never understand the American market.
I remember, I was the editor on one shoot that was, I think it was the French fashion shows, and I decided that it would be interesting to have dreadlocks on the models.
I think that pushed them further than they could bear.
That was it for me.
But I think it's always part of life to have some knocks as well as some successes.
- And to take risks.
- And you know , to learn.
I think it' s healthy for everyone  to lose a job as well as to gain a job.
What bores you?
Mediocrity.
If you see a collection that is, you feel the designer has been lazy or taking inspiration from other designers.
It doesn't so much as bore me as anger me.
What is your best piece of advice for the next generation's influencers?
I think it's really to be true to yourself, and listen as much as one is able to other people who's opinions you respect and look up to, but in the end it has come from you and you can't really worry too mcuh by looking to the left or the right about what the competition might be doing, or the people in your field might be doing.
It has to be a true vision.

A: Hello Ms. Smith, I'm Tom Kelley. Thanks so much for coming in.

B: It's my pleasure, thanks so much for meeting with me.

A: of course. Did you have any trouble finding the office?

SMALL TALK

R: Olá Ms. Smith, sou Tom Kelley.

A: é claro. Você teve problemas para encontrar o escritório?

CONVERSA FIADA

Most interview will start out with a handshake and some small talk - this may include questions about how you're doing, your travel to the interview, the weather, how your weekend went, and more. All you need to do is be polite and friendly. Keep your answers short. You can also feel to turn the question back to the interview. For instance, if the interview asks you how your weekend was, you might respond, "It  was great, we celebrated my Mom's birthday. How was your weekend?" Small talk is used to build a more comfortable environment before the interview begins. It may seem silly, but you can practice small talk on your own by asking yourself simple, easy-to-answer, non-personal questions. You could also practice with a friend. Here is an example of small talk:

How are you doing?
I'm great, thank you. And you?

How are you doing?
I'm doing really well. It's such a nice day out there.

It is. It was perfect weather all weekend.

It was.

Did you do anything interesting over the weekend?
Yes. I went to the park with my family for a picnic.

Como vai você?
Estou bem, obrigado.

That sounds nice.
It was. And you?
I worked this weekend. But I got a lot done, so that was good.

It does feel good to get work done.

You can see we haven't said much of importance, but the conversation is frendly and poen, and can make two people feel more comfortable in each other's presence.

B: Nope. This directions on the website were great.

A: Good. Would you like some coffee or water before we begin?

B: I'm okay, thank you.

A: Alright. So, to get started, why don't you tell me a little bit about yourself.

B: sure

3:20

B: claro
