Muitas vezes, as pessoas ficam confusas sobre o uso de used to + infinitive  e be/get used to + ‘ing’ porque elas parecem semelhantes. Eles são, no entanto, completamente diferentes. Ambos ‘be used to’ e ‘get used to’ são seguidos por um substantivo (ou pronome) ou o gerúndio - a forma 'ing' de um verbo. Não consigo me acostumar a me levantar tão cedo. Both ‘be used to’ and ‘get used to’ are followed by a noun (or pronoun) or the gerund – the ‘ing’ form of a verb. I can’t get used to getting up so early. I’m tired all the time. Be/get used to’ pode ser usado com tempos passados, presentes e futuros. Você pode achar isso estranho no início, mas logo você se habituará a isso. Ele não estava acostumado com o calor e ele pegou insolação.	Be/get used to’ can be used with past, present and future tenses. You might find it strange at first but you’ll soon get used to it.
